This page lays out our terms and conditions under which you use our website. Please read through carefully before placing an order with us. By using this website or placing an order with us you are bound by the terms and conditions below. Please also read our privacy statement regarding personal information provided by you.
Limited License
We grant you a limited license to access and make personal use of this website. You may not copy any portion of the website be it images or written copy without written consent which may be withheld in our discretion.
Privacy Policy
When you subscribe to our mailing list or place an order with us you will be added to our client mailing list. The purpose of this is to we can keep you up to date on our products and services We retain name, address and email details. We never hold credit card details of customers. Every time we contact you we will give you the option of unsubscribing to our mailing list.
Conditions of Items
It is accepted that the clothing offered are vintage items and as such have been worn and are not new or unworn unless stated so. These clothes have a had a life before you and that is part of their charm. We aim to sell pieces that are in very good condition. We take time to examine and list all flaws. Be aware that a vintage piece may have some wear here and there. These items have stood the test of time and may have scars to prove it. When buying vintage this is something to bear in mind.
Returns
We really hope you love your purchase from our store. If in such case as you wish to return here are our return guidelines.

Returns are accepted within 14 days and a store credit or exchange will be provided. We do not give cash refunds. We are a small business and unfortunately it would not be sustainable for us to provide cash refunds. Please decide carefully before you purchase. We are happy to help you choose another pieces or are happy for you to keep the credit with us for a year.
Items will only be taken back if received back in the condition they were sent. This means they must be unworn, clean and undamaged apart from any damage stated in listing on purchase. Soiled, damaged or items with a smell of smoke or odour will not be accepted.
Shipping
We aim to ship your purchase within two days of payment.
Shipping within Ireland will be at a rate of €10.00 for items under 2kg and €15.00 for anything over that. This is by Standard Postage. Please allow 3-5 days for postage once you have paid to receive your item.
Shipping within Europe and outside of Ireland will cost €18.00 for packages under 2kg and €20.00 for over that weight. This is also by Standard Postage. Please allow 5-10 working days once you have paid to receive your item.
Anything outside of Europe will cost a flat fee of €25.00 for shipping.
We are not responsible for any delays after we have shipped and sent you receipt of this.
Payment
Internet transactions are processed via our secure ordering facility on a secure server. All major credit cards are accepted and the name Darkcityhippy will appear on your statement. You can also elect to pay through Paypal. We must receive payment in full before items are dispatched.
Our contract
A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by email that the goods you have ordered have been dispatched to you. Only the goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed
